Episode Description:
The news that Sissi is alive leads to an armistice between Austria and Hungary. A letter is sent to Vienna: Empress Sophie is to come to resume peace negotiations with Hungary. Zottornik's intrigues seem to have come to an end, but the chancellor hasn't had enough. He has the cannons aimed at the Hungarian camp, knowing full well that Franz and Karl are there. The two princes are buried under the rubble. Zottornik triumphs. When Empress Sophie arrives, he brings her the news that her sons have fallen in battle against the Hungarians.
