AdBlock Issues & Solutions
If you’ve already disabled your ad blocker or don’t use one but are still experiencing issues, you may find a solution on this page.
Many of you have probably noticed that we recently took action against adblock users. Rising server costs paired with little to no income left us with no choice but to require visitors to either disable their adblocker or become a premium member.
However, this change has led to countless complaints such as: *“I turned off my adblocker, but I’m still seeing the message.”* Since we can no longer respond to every email individually, we’ve created this post to help address the most common issues.
Note: Upgrading to Premium not only resolves this issue but also helps support us a lot!
Question: Will the 10-second counter or Adblock warnings go away?
No — we will continue blocking adblock usage and showing a 10-second “Operation: …” ad before videos in order to cover server costs.
Still Seeing the Adblock Message Even Though My Adblocker Is Off
This is the most common adblock-related complaint. There are three possible causes for this issue:
Case 1: You have definitely disabled your adblocker, but sometimes it gets stuck and continues blocking ads even after you’ve allowed them.
Case 2: You may think you’ve disabled your adblocker, but other tools like antivirus software or browsers such as DuckDuckGo also have built-in adblockers. Nowadays, almost all antivirus programs include adblock features. Make sure to whitelist our site in both your antivirus and any privacy-focused extensions or browsers.
Case 3: You might not have a separate adblocker installed, but some browsers have adblocking built in. This often happens on smart TVs, Xbox, or other gaming consoles.
Case 4: Our anti-adblock solution isn’t perfect. At times, issues may occur due to browser cache or similar factors. The fix is simple—clear your cookies and history from the past 4 hours.
