Episode Description:
Sissi and Franz enjoy carefree hours in Venice. Their happiness seems perfect: Franz wants to renounce the throne and marry Sissi in order to live with her at Possenhofen. But their common adversary Arkas is already making dark plans. He has learned that the two want to free Duke Max, Sissi's father, from exile on a small Mediterranean island and is hiding on Sissi's ship. A telegram from Franz has meanwhile arrived at Schönbrunn Palace. Empress Sophie and Helene are horrified: Franz wants to marry Sissi and lead a middle-class life! Sophie makes a momentous decision.
