Butler approves it, since in reality Hibito will always have the support of crewmates and an EVA partner. He also doesn't simply want to test Hibito, but to help him recover in the way Ronald couldn't. Working with his old crewmates reminds him of his happiest times on the Moon, and Hibito begins to enjoy himself again. After his own training, Mutta runs over to the pool in time to see his brother being congratulated by his colleagues on successfully passing his test.
