Kenji suggests adding a long-range antenna, and Mutta has the idea of rover charging stations, thinking of Hibito's accident. He also suggests building a lunar telescope, as practice for achieving Sharon's dream. Kenji reflects on his family—Fuuka is excited that her father is training to go to the moon, but upset by his long absences. Yuki is exhausted and frustrated by raising Fuuka by herself and her difficulty speaking English. His family sacrifices a lot for him to go to space, so he is determined to do his best to get to the Moon to make their sacrifice worth it.
