After Rusty's story, Gordon arrives with his snow machine to help clear the tunnel, but inadvertently causes an avalanche to fall on him. Thomas laughingly remarks that a big, proud engine like Gordon would surely be able to laugh about surviving a snowfall, since Skarloey did.
