hise meets Rahab, Lindel’s master, who summoned her. Angelica visits Elias. Rahab reveals Elias lived with her for decades learning about humans, but he always failed to understand emotions so he could only imitate human behaviour. Rahab once tried to explain marriage to him but it didn’t go well. Elias explains his growing worry to Angelica about Chise’s habit of confronting danger, even giving her his precious silver necktie hoping by trying to avoid breaking it she will start avoiding danger. Chise assures Rahab that Elias definitely has emotions, even if he doesn’t know it himself. Rahab is happy Elias met Chise but asks Chise not to mention her to Elias...
