Koshigaya soon arrives at the last moment to rescue Kana and Makino. Noticing the teamwork on display, a determined Makino comes up with a strategy. After a while, they finally neutralize the Kaii. Kana and Makino continue to work together for a month before they say their goodbyes. The next day, Shigemoto attends a Council of Magical Organizations meeting.
