After separating them, Takano escapes from the orphanage headmaster into the forest. Years later, Takano continues the research, working at the institute as second in command behind Irie. Takano meets Tomitake. Back in the past, Takano questions the god why she is suffering for her abnormal life. The flashback ends and Takano wakes up, apparently dreaming the entire time. Takano looks over the village and proclaims that her actions continues on with her grandfather's legacy.
