The next day outside, Tamaki is suspicious when she sees Shinji talking to Fiona, but Tamaki is further shocked upon seeing Ryou spying on Shinji as well. After school in the storehouse, Tamaki hears a voice while looking through the books. She is then suddenly possessed by the voice, who tells Takuma and Mahiro the legend behind the Tamayori Princess of when she sealed the Onikirimaru after it was released and nearly caused the end of the world. Mahiro reveals that the Logos can easily pass through the barrier because it has weakened, since Shizuki, as the Tamayori Princess foretold in the legend, is slowly dying due to her old age. Tamaki fails to talk Mahiro into not giving up on defeating the enemy. Before leaving with Takuma, Mahiro tells Tamaki that he already knows that he is not strong enough to fight.
