The world gets to know about Doflamingo's resignation from the warlords in the daily news. Luffy threatens Doflamingo through the Transponder Snail to which the latter retaliates by stating he possesses something Luffy wants badly. During the breakfast Law explains his plan for the destruction of the factory. During a meeting at the Marine HQ, Buggy is shown to have become a Warlord during the time-skip. In order to deal with Doflamingo, Luffy, and Law, Akainu dispatches Fujitora. At Dressrosa, during a meeting with the top members of the Donquixote Pirates, Doflamingo is shown to be in possession of Ace's former Devil Fruit, the Flame-Flame Fruit.
