Episode Description:
Takashi is chased by two hairy yōkai who cast a voice-sealing spell on him to ensure he will never be able to call upon his "servants'" for help with the Book of Friends. A large bird yōkai saves him, mistaking him for his grandmother Reiko, and brings him to a once lively valley before Nyanko-sensei finds him. Takashi regains his voice after the group of yōkai attack him in his room, and he returns the pink-yellow bird yōkai's name, Hidaka, who leaves on a journey elsewhere.
