Kyoichi agrees to work with Tetsuo to find Nobuto, but threatens to kill him and frame him for murdering Nobuto if they cannot do so by the deadline of Friday, however Tetsuo does not share this information with Kasen. After considering his options, Tetsuo decides to create the impression that Nobuto is still alive. They interview Nobuto's girlfriend Hibiki at the club where she works and she mentions Nobuto's exploitation of Reika, enraging Tetsuo, however he manages to extract some useful information from her - Nobuto ripped off his gang by carrying out a pre-planned robbery himself...
