Teni remembers how she met Chuutatsu Shibai before attacking Shimei Ryomou, who releases her dragon, but is still defeated and mortally wounded. Shiryu Chou'un appears, and with her eyes closed, beats Teni just as the Dragon Jade heals Ryomou. Chou'un delivers the injured Ryomou to Koukin Shuyu's house where Ryomou remembers her dragon awakened but was defeated by Chou'un. Bunen Chouryou reports on Teni's hospitalization to Shibai. Moutoku Sousou and Genyou Kakouton discuss their fate. Totosu and his gang attack Sousou, who releases his dragon and eviscerates them. Chouryou dismisses Bunwa Kaku as Kyosho Academy's strategist. Chou'un presents the Dragon Jade to Unsho Kan'u.
