Kyosho Academy fighters are hunting fighters from all other schools, forcing Koukin Shuyu to accept the alliance between Nanyo Academy and Seito Academy. After killing Genyou Kakouton, Moutoku Sousou has himself restrained. Chuukou Kyocho tries to calm him. Shikou Chokou trains Hakufu Sonsaku to use the Qi of her dragon spirit after she is rescued from a lake by Hakugen Rikuson. Koumei Shokatsuryou sets up the Battle of Red Cliffs.
