Fairground Chip: Everyone at Welcome Walk goes to the fair on their last day of summer break. Chip and Nico spend most of their tickets on rides and a game, but Chip couldn't ride the roller coaster with Nico for being too short. Meanwhile, Chip finds two lost kids.
Chip, Meet Mrs. Whale: With Mr. Diggerty out of school due to an eye operation, Chip's class gets a substitute teacher: Mrs. Whale. She runs the class differently, like the way she calls attendance and splits up the long desk. Chip doesn't like it, but while she warms up to it, Mrs. Whale has the class draw pictures of Mr. Diggerty.
