Arthur's First Sleepover: Arthur has a sleepover with Buster and Brain, even with all the talk of UFOs. D.W. wants to join them so that she can take a picture of a UFO. The boys refuse to invite her, so D.W. plays a prank on them with a flashlight in retaliation, and they get back at her by scaring her with a fake alien, then tricking her into spotting a fake UFO.
Arthur's New Year's Eve: Arthur has never stayed up until midnight on New Year's Eve. His friends all have different claims on what happens at midnight, so Arthur tries to stay up until New Year's Eve to find out what occurs. He is disappointed when he sleeps through it, although Grandma Thora reassures him that the following year will be exciting.
