When Rei visits the Kawamoto's, Hinata hides her face in embarrassment, but Rei tries to show her kindness in his own way. Later, when Rei and Akari are on their way back from grocery shopping, he declares loudly without thinking, “I’m here too!” to comfort Akari, who has been worrying about her little sister. Meanwhile, it is the semi-finals of the Newcomer Tournament. Rei’s opponent is Subaru Hachiya, the “Irritated Prince of the East.” How will Rei fare against this peculiar player, Hachiya?
