Researchers Shigeru Kokudou and Autobahn are being pursued by thieves, after having found a crystal skull. Professor Kokudou believes that this skull is in fact a relic left behind by a super-ancient civilization from space, which became a part of mankind's heritage. Although the two manage to escape their pursuers by luck, Professor Kokudou accidentally drops the crystal skull into the water, where it submerges. Although he argues that this will keep the thieves from getting it, Autobahn is not pleased...
