Cyan returns to the orphanage to confirm DOS's claims that Luo is dead. However, the director tells her to stop associating with them to prevent her past from being exposed. Unfortunately, the public learns about her surviving the plane crash, spreading rumors that her luck comes at others' expense. As the orphanage becomes the center of the negative press, the public's fear transforms the inhabitants into zombie-like creatures. In response, Cyan's colleague—the 2nd-ranked hero Queen—proposes they unveil the truth behind the incident using the plane's flight recorder, which Zhen salvaged and entrusted to the director. Fighting her way to the orphanage, Cyan retrieves the recorder after defeating the zombified inhabitants. However, she is then attacked by a zombified Luo, who reveals his parents died in the crash. Fortunately, Cyan reveals the truth by replaying the recorder: that her luck originates from the plane's passengers praying for her survival. This causes Luo to come to his senses, and the two reconcile. Afterward, Cyan's popularity reaches new heights, becoming the 7th-ranked hero—the incident also caused the public to learn about the existence of the Power of Fear.
