Lieselotte tests a spell Kurt placed on her new sword. Alreid and Yulicia confront the demon lord. Marlefiss grows weaker as the demon lord drains her magic to keep summoning undead. Kurt tunnels up from under the floor, having dug his way in to avoid the undead. Marlefiss believes Kurt knows she was sent to assassinate Lieselotte and so is confused when Kurt blurts out his nonsense belief she has been writing graffiti everywhere. He mistakes the demon lord's magic circle for more graffiti and cleans it with an ordinary mop. The demon lord stabs Lieselotte to complete her assassination. Lieselotte reappears unharmed; revealing the spell on her sword creates a lifelike copy of her. The demon lord is killed by Kurt's crystals, banishing the undead army. Kurt, with no idea what is really going on, shares his lunch with Marlefiss, unintentionally curing her curse. Marlefiss cannot believes Kurt's power and realises she was a fool for looking down on him. Phantom arrest Marlefiss, though Kurt promises to visit her in prison. Kurt cooks a celebratory feast for the army, who are all astonished when the food heals their injuries. Noble Margrave Taicone visits demon lord Hildegarde.
