Marco, Shi La and Luigi are eyed suspiciously. They made it happily through the thick fog to the caravanserai. But in the inn, a ghostly thief is up to mischief. Whether it's jewelry or Luigi's last dried apricots - nothing is safe from him. A curious magpie comes under suspicion, then Rustam, the faithful guardian of the house. The friends want to convict the thief with a trap. But he escapes in the fog. Rescue comes from Rustam of all people.
