Episode Description:
On the day of the choir competition, Yoshiki convinces Hikaru to skip school and spend the day together, while their class performs successfully without them. After a strange call in which Yoshiki tells his mother to take care, they return home, where Yoshiki suddenly stabs Hikaru and asks him to kill him in return, revealing he planned to make Hikaru’s last day a happy one. Hikaru refuses, instead removing part of his own insides to give to Yoshiki, saying it weakens him and that Yoshiki’s acceptance has taught him the value of human life. Yoshiki accepts the flesh and decides to research Hikaru’s true nature.
