Episode Description:
Ran and her brother Rin head to the school after Ran picks up Rui's stray thoughts at his home. Rin finds the culprit on the roof with an unconscious Rui. A brief battle ensues, and Midori interferes in the fight, prompting the masked figure to invade Midori's mind. Midori's telekinetic counterattack backfires and throws her from the rooftop but Ran interferes, saving her life. Again seeing Midori's memory of her mother's rejection, Ran vows to become her friend and save her from isolation...
