In the past, the human race had fought a series of terrible battles on the Moon against a mysterious alien threat. Years later, like a phoenix from the ashes, the scientist discoverer of the Getter rays, Dr. Saotome, incredibly returns from the dead to seek revenge against those who use his discoveries for personal ambitions, and barricades himself in his base-fortress, the Saotome Laboratory. , protected by an entire army of Getter Robot G's at his service. The United Nations, when their forces are wiped out by Saotome's robots, turns to two ambiguous scientists, Cowen and Stinger, for help.
