Marco's illegitimate son applies for a job on Sealab. He must pass the civil service exam with Debbie and Quinn helping. The episode title is a reference to the Burt Reynolds movie Sharky's Machine, which took place in Atlanta, the hometown of Williams Street.
This episode has the reverse of "jumping the shark" by having Sharko perform a waterski jump over a pool of Fonzies. Shanks makes repeated references to The Electric Horseman.
