As the Shibito cause widespread destruction in the colony, Memempu is attacked by Muro as she declares that she will kill the rainbow children before being stopped by the Boss of the Shibito. Boss explains to Memempu that Gagumber is not really her father and that as a rainbow child, Memempu has the ability to retain images better than a normal human that allows them to remember everything from birth, but Memempu is different from the others.
