Shiryu's Rising Dragon is useless against Argol and can't risk looking at the Medusa Shield. Unfortunately, his Dragon Shield is turned to stone during the battle. But as soon as he is about to lose, he is saved by the Steel Saints. However, Argol quickly defeats them. Shiryu realizes there is one way to fight him: he blinds himself.
