Barbara and the Malcolm family had used Yusei all along to remove Kalin from the Radley group so they would be easy prey. Yusei, along with Kalin and Radley, are taken to the mines and given shock collars. Yusei finds a means of escaping, but Kalin still refuses to be helped.
