Two gargoyle sisters Gako and Gagomi live happily in Shikoku Mountain, before they are attacked by a group of Kamikui assassins. In an attempt to save her older sister, Gagomi sacrifices herself while she pushes Gako into the river. Shizuka Gozen and Party found Gako in Yoshino River and she saves her from her, even though she suffers from amnesia.
