The King's court begs him to reconsider his choice for queen but he refuses. He orders Sariphi not to call him Leonhart in public. Sariphi makes some paper flowers to decorate the castle and likens Leonhart to a carpenter bee because of his large furry body and gentle nature. At a banquet to present Sariphi to the rest of the kingdom, the guests of various beast races are shocked to learn a human will be the queen.
