Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasukabe, three children with extraordinary power, each receive a mysterious invitation and are suddenly transported to a world called the Little Garden. There, they are greeted by a rabbit-eared girl known as Black Rabbit, who informs them that the world revolves around 'Gift Games,' which challenges it's players with games of varying danger while betting something in exchange for rewards if they win. Furthermore, Black Rabbit informs them that they should be in a community to join the game. Then, Black Rabbit first tests the children with a card-based Gift Game without betting something, which they manage to win after a tactic by Izayoi, although Asuka and You protest that his method wasted the strategies they had made...
