The Rose of Sharon Challia interrogates Amate on the whereabouts of the Rose of Sharon, though he senses Amate has no knowledge of it. Amate then receives help from an unknown benefactor and uses it to escape the Sodon in the GQuuuuuuX, which Challia notices and commands his crew to monitor her actions. She later crashes near Mangaluru and is taken to a brothel to recover. Amate learns from the brothel's maids that a woman is expecting her arrival and later meets with her. The woman introduces herself as Lalah Sune, and she shares to Amate her visions of falling in love with a Zeon officer in red uniform and seeing him die in the hands of a Federation ace pilot, whom she also loved, in another life. Amate attempts to assist Lalah in escaping the brothel, but Lalah forces Amate to leave without her as she waits for the Zeon officer, much to Amate's sadness. Amate flies to the ocean to retrieve the GQuuuuuuX, where she finds to her shock a mobile armor and a woman resembling Lalah, which Amate realizes is the Rose of Sharon. Challia and the Sodon then fly in to apprehend her and collect the mobile armor, and he remarks it did not come from their world.
