Rumi and her team lose the next match, for which Rumi blames herself. During this time, Mizuma Sakaguchi, from the boys basketball team, unexpectedly confesses to her. Naori manages to convince Jun to form a pop-culture research club with Ririsu, Toyoshige and Amamiya. Even after learning Rumi is in love with Jun, Mizuma still asks her on a date and gives her time to consider her answer. Reira suspects Mizuma deliberately upset Rumi before asking her out so she would be vulnerable and more likely to say yes. Exasperated, she tells Rumi to start taking beating Naori seriously before she loses Jun without having tried at all...
