The Central guild sends Smith, the greatest living mithril blacksmith, to work in the foundry. Smith refuses to work with Campbell guild blacksmiths due to Fitbitan's rudeness. Smith reveals he intends to forge the greatest mithril weapon of his career, customized for Dariel's unique Aura.
