Nanami and Yuji attack gang up on Mahito relentlessly, but are unable to leave any permanent marks. Noticing Mahito's short pauses whenever he gathers cursed energy between attacks, the pair attack at the right moments and are able to batter Mahito with punches. Mahito, at the brink of defeat, unlocks his domain expansion and traps Nanami inside.
