This episode reveals that after being buried alive, Enma Ai had risen and destroyed her entire village in hatred, killing the villagers. The Master of Hell decides that Ai's punishment will be to remain on Earth as Hell Girl to atone for her sins by witnessing others' hatred instead of going to Hell. In present day, Maki Onda is being horrendously bullied in school, but she doesn't know who is bullying her. Her science teacher, Eiko Kamishiro, tries to help her, but Onda finds out through her classmate that Kamishiro is the one who has been bullying her. She sends Kamishiro to Hell.
