The girl, Ruri, offers to escort Al to Lurugus. Reaks somehow finds them with another letter from Al’s mother. Ruri is saddened by this as her own family don’t care about her at all. Ruri makes camp, revealing her bag can hold numerous large items despite its small size; inherited from her hero ancestor who defeated Demon Lord Macbeth. Ruri is training and has heard Lurugus is plagued by accidents and demon sightings. She hopes to one day live up to the hero’s legacy.
