Everyone travels to Sandora Kingdom in the desert and spot another crystal beast, now known as a Phrase, chasing a group of people. Touya encounters Ende again, who defeats the Phrase. Ende reveals the barrier protecting the world against the Phrase is weakening, allowing the Phrase to search for their king. Ende teleports away. The group are adventurers led by Rebecca escorting runaway female slaves to safety. They learn that the collars that the slave girls are wearing prevent them from disobeying orders and trying to remove them or escape may result in death. The only person who can remove them has died...
