However, a cyborg experiment of mad scientist, D.A. Sinclair's, escapes confinement and fights Mark before killing himself. As William deduces Mark's identity, Amber breaks up with Mark due to his "absence" during the cyborg's rampage, and he sacrifices reconciliation to rescue William and Rick from Sinclair.
