Kota turns out to be the son of Nodoka, Chiyu and Hinata's home room teacher Kyousei Maruyama, and the girls learn he had a fight with his friend Shuichi because they both have different opinions on lions and tigers. However, Kota learns from the girls that being different can be a good thing and make friendships stronger, and he manages to reconcile with Shuichi.
