Professor Li confirms Mei’s suspicions involving the unusual properties of the archetypes, and informs her that she acquired the information from a man named Professor Ashihara. Meanwhile, a survey team led by Professor Li's colleague BB visits a cavern in India containing a ''lake'' of the strange red dust, but they are interrupted by the sudden emergence of another monster called Salunga and barely manage to escape before the cavern is sealed again...
