One day earlier, Hikawa puts a coin in the vending machine and the man gives her the ability to transform her flawed limbs into monstrous ones. Repulsed by this, she pursues Shuichi and Claire in an attempt to steal another coin. As they flee, Claire enters Shuichi's body and sense their minds. Claire uses Shuichi's body to kill Hikawa, when she does not tell them. A week later, Shuichi tries to leave, but Claire points out they are a strong team if other monsters show up...
