Princess Yuki and Layla manage to sneak past the heavy Grandiga dragnet and reach the old Empire of Verde research facility and proceeds to start the facility up. As a precaution, Layla asks Yuki to go on ahead to the upper level to activate the chrars-disabling device when it is warmed up. Just outside, the Buerger Battalion advances toward the facility, meeting some resistance.
