Episode Description:
A new day, a new tournament. The girls are over the moon as Hakuoh is set to compete in a duel. He's currently the biggest heartthrob in the Duel Masters scene and hardly anyone wants to miss this duel. Shobu has absolutely no idea why there's such a fuss about this guy. Arrived in the duel arena, the spectators are already in a good mood. When Hakuoh then also performs his artistic jump, the crowd trembles. Hakuoh's opponent is a former chef who constantly throws around ingredients and their names. And that's how he behaves during the game. He often confuses his cooking skills with the Duel Masters deck. Hakuoh doesn't seem particularly impressed with Koban-Jan's movement skills. But he makes a good face for the bad game. Since Toban-Jan and Shobu have an almost identical deck and strategy, Shobu imagines himself playing against Hakuoh during the duel. In this fantasy world, Shobu tries with all his might to defeat Hakuoh. However, in the end, neither Toban-Jan nor Shobu stand a chance against Hakuoh and his final move, Holy Spark, which Shobu felt from Knight back in the day. Though internally losing to Hakuoh, Shobu confronts him again down the sidelines. When he becomes junior champion, he will challenge Hakuoh and defeat him. Hakuoh isn't impressed and walks away.
