Episode Description:
Shobu is a talented young player of the Duel Masters card game. Together with his friends Rekuta, Sayuki and Mimi, he experiences exciting adventures on the long journey to become a Kaijudo Duel Master. There are very few of those in the world, but Shobu will not be swayed from his "destiny". He really wants to follow in his father Shori Kirifuda's footsteps and become at least as good a player as he is. Knight, also a Duel Masters player, is Shobu's mentor and teacher. He tries to set Shobu on the right track to perfect his game. Knight is a member of the Temple and regularly reports to his "Master" on Shobu's developments. Knight often disagrees with his "Master's" decisions and doesn't want to expose Shobu to dangerous situations, since it's not yet known whether Shobu has the "gift" of a Duel Master. Maruo is Rekuta's father and owns a Duel Masters card shop. All kinds of Duel Masters tickets are sold there and many competitions are held there. Becoming a Duel Master comes with many dangers, and no one knows if Shobu will achieve his goal. (Text: RTL II)
