The Monastery burns as Malco and Flinch tear it apart looking for The Key. With the help of a bizarre creature named Zad, the Defenders sneak into the monastery and split up to find the Key. Meanwhile, Adam runs into the beasts from earlier and takes back the Nova Stone when they refuse to return it. He arrives at the monastery as Mel is being attacked by Flinch and saves her (again), then apologizes for lying. Seth and Kara find the Elder Priestess of the monastery, who leads them to the Key...
