Cobra still alive and uses the Psychogun on Count Cliff Bold, but is too weak for it to be effective, and is dumped into an underground canal. The duck-like engineers jump in to save him, but at the last moment, Lady Armaroid arrives with Cobra’s ship and rescues him with the engineers. The engineers work to modify his ship’s engine to dimension-shift. Meanwhile Count Cliff Bold uses his dimension-shift ships to descend 2,000m below the Mars surface to a cave housing an ancient Martian city...
