Suzumi explains to Aya that the Mikages are descendants of the legendary celestial maiden, and that they have been killing girls her age for a long time. Aya doesn't want to believe it, and later sneaks away from the Aogiri house to return to her own home. She falls asleep there, awakening near sunset. As she's washing her face, she has a vision letting her know the hospital where Aki and her mother are. Aya goes there while the Aogiris are searching for her...
