Based on Anna Sewell's wonderful classic, the story traces the dramatic life and times during the 1800's of a horse named Black Beauty. From privileged birth in the stables of a country house, Black Beauty's fate changes when his kind, waelthy owner loses his fortune. Black Beauty is then sold to a rich but cruel owner. He rebels against the treatment he receives and life worsens still further when he is sold again and reduced to the hard work of pulling a cab in London's busy, dirty and noisy streets.
